Essay: If I were an angel………

         Our teacher gave us the topic ‘If I were an angel…’ to write an essay. I was in the bed thinking of the essay and about the content. then…..

         The television sound  interrupt my thinking. I went there to tell my sister to keep the volume down. There I saw in television….The gunmen in Mumbai were shooting so many innocent people without any reason.  I thought if I were in front of them…hey! What a surprise ….I was there in front of them with a magic wand in my hand and wings on the sides and dressed in white. Then I waved my magic wand to fill their mind full of love for others. It made the terrorists to stop violence and surrender themselves .Changing the minds of eight terrorists is not enough. So I waved my wand to remove the hatred feeling from all the terrorists of this world and fill their mind with love for their fellow beings. This would keep terrorism out of the world. I felt proud of myself for doing this.

          Then I was flying through the streets. There I saw a constable trying to get bribe from a two wheeler. I felt, bribery is a big problem in our country. The greed for money makes the people to get and give bribe.  From a traffic constable to a cabinet minister have this greedy. I waved my magic wand to remove the greediness for money from all Indians mind. For my surprise, the traffic policeman allowed the  two wheeler to go without getting any bribe.

          I started flying in the city. The sky was beautiful. Suddenly my dress became dirty. I couldn’t breathe easy. I found out the reason while looking down. I was flying over an industrial area. Pollution… I closed my eyes and waved my magic wand to stop pollution. At that time I felt some thing hitting me. I opened the eyes. That was my sister shouting at me as I was lying in her place.

          Oh… all that was a dream. If I were an angel, I will make my dream come true.
